The park near the Hudson River.
If you were to design a postcard with a specific Manhattan location, where would that be? Why?
Seal Park on 22nd and 10th, because it would be a nice memory to show my son when he grows up. He loves going there.

Which block would you tell a friend visiting Manhattan for the first time not to miss? Why?
The Highline if it can be considered a "block!"
If you could display your best project anywhere in Manhattan, where would you choose to and why?
I'd convert the billboard off The Highline to a big screen and project it there. I like the pace and crowd of promenaders on the Highline, how it's part of the city but its own destination, among all the art and galleries and fashion. I like the human scale of it, with the flora, and all the ages and nationalities that are particular kind of visual tourist.

What is your favorite public art piece in Manhattan?
I love the series that rotates through Madison Square Park, particularly those metal trees a couple years ago … also any large Calder.
Which three places makes a perfect day in Manhattan? Why?
Favorite interior design of specific shop/building/house, etc.?
The bar at the Carlyle for that wonderful Madeline mural.
Which Manhattan subway station is your favorite and why?
14th street for the little sculptures.
What is your favorite work of art in a Manhattan museum or gallery?
Calder's Circus at the Whitney.
What is your favorite place for design drooling? Why?
Bergdorf windows for the extravagance and physicality of the sets. Plenty of taxidermy too!
What do you consider the most beautiful building in Manhattan?
